    I feel like I have some explaining to do.. i haven't been too active online and i want to apologize! I feel so disconnected from you guys so let me catch you up on what's been happening.

     

    First, I just got off of the biggest tour of the year so far according to poll star and It was such an amazing time! This was my first "christian" tour and i really didn't know what to expect but it turned out to be such and amazing time!! Im so thankful for all the wonderful people we got to meet. all the bands were so great, made us feel so loved. it was awesome! It was such a privilege to be a part of what God is doing through winter jam.

    While we are on the topic of Concerts I know that there have been some of you wondering if i was going to start just playing at churches or if i will still be doing club shows and the answer is YES! Since I started playing music I always was of the mindset that i would play wherever they would have me! haha and im so thankful that churches have been opening their doors to me and i am so excited to be a part of their ministries but I am also looking forward to playing at some of your favorite concert venues! keep checking back here for tour dates. im currently in the process of acquiring a new booking agency and we are gonna get some shows rockin! ill keep ya posted.

    Now, I am excited to announce that there will be a new addition to the Castro family! My wife and I are expecting our first child this August. We just found out yesterday that it is going to be a girl! haha that makes me laugh... what am i going to do with a sweet little girl?! probably just smile alot... i cannot wait!!! 

    It's an exciting time, Im in a happy place. so thankful for the presence of God in my life! Anyways, Ill keep ya posted... I've got a soundcheck to get to!

Congratulations...you're life goals are coming together quickly, to make music that touches the heart, to be faithful husband, and a loving father (or vice versa?). Very happy for you and glad to hear that there's a new booking agency in the works...someone that will get you where He wants you!!

I heard about your good news awhile back on K-Love,they announced it and I was so excited for both of you..and a little girl,she is going to be a beauty!!! We have so missed you and your updates but you had a wonderful time on this tour and I am wearing the new T-shirt as I write this, I am so looking forward to seeing you in June at Icthus,in Wilmore,Ky, I have never been before but my daughter went every year while she was in school, it is not very far from me and I can hardly wait to see you there. I have been with you since day one on AI and you and Mandy and all of your amazing family have been in my daily prayers ever since,I never miss a day praying for all of you. You have taken us on an amazing journey and it is still going, you have blessed us beyond measure with your beautiful music and your beautiful soul,you are truly a gift from GOD to all of us and now we will just have one more precious one to love. Jasonnn and Mandy --- so excited to hear confirmation of your precious blessing!! Jason, I bet that the moment you hold your precious baby girl in your arms that you will cry tears -- joyful and thankful for such an amazing gift! You both will be amazing parents!! Amazing news!!!! It is always great to hear from you, but when you have that kind of news is even more exciting. Thank you for trying to keep us (your fans) informed about what goes on in your life. Congratulations to you and Mandy. A baby is a blessing from God and this is a very lucky baby because she will be blessed with parents like you. Jason I'm so happy for you and Mandy. That precious little girl is doubly blessed to be born to such wonderful and loving parents. I'm sure she will have you wrapped around her little finger, most girls know how to do that to their Dad. I know all of your extended family is so excited. You're going to make that beautiful mother of yours, and of course Mandy's mother too, the best looking grandmothers in town and your wonderful grandmother an ecstatic great grandmother. There's my sweetness! (bout time! haha) A GIRL! how absolutly precious and I can only imagine how beautiful she will be and how.... (cough cough) spoiled, but that is absolutly ok because that's how it's suppose to be, spoiled and loved! So what about this move, what has your billing address 24 hours from you. I hope it's from LA to Texas because I can't image you moving from TX at this time, (mama Castro would cry) Any way yes Jason we always miss you when you are inactive and looking forward to seeing you back at the shows. We've missed you Jason! But I certainly understand how a busy schedule and a new baby girl on the way could take up your time!! I'm so thrilled for the Castro-Mayhall family. You are going to be absolutely wonderful parents. Definitely don't worry about the fact that she is a girl. You'll find you'll have lots to share with her including your music and soccer and on and on. I wish you only the best and will keep you, Mandy and baby girl Castro in my prayers. Thanks for the update it's so appreciated. BTW congrats to the grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and everyone in your amazing family. Get lots of rest now, you'll need it. Best advice for you and Mandy...try to take naps when your baby naps. lol Hug to you both.
