    I feel like I have some explaining to do.. i haven't been too active online and i want to apologize! I feel so disconnected from you guys so let me catch you up on what's been happening.

     

    First, I just got off of the biggest tour of the year so far according to poll star and It was such an amazing time! This was my first "christian" tour and i really didn't know what to expect but it turned out to be such and amazing time!! Im so thankful for all the wonderful people we got to meet. all the bands were so great, made us feel so loved. it was awesome! It was such a privilege to be a part of what God is doing through winter jam.

    While we are on the topic of Concerts I know that there have been some of you wondering if i was going to start just playing at churches or if i will still be doing club shows and the answer is YES! Since I started playing music I always was of the mindset that i would play wherever they would have me! haha and im so thankful that churches have been opening their doors to me and i am so excited to be a part of their ministries but I am also looking forward to playing at some of your favorite concert venues! keep checking back here for tour dates. im currently in the process of acquiring a new booking agency and we are gonna get some shows rockin! ill keep ya posted.

    Now, I am excited to announce that there will be a new addition to the Castro family! My wife and I are expecting our first child this August. We just found out yesterday that it is going to be a girl! haha that makes me laugh... what am i going to do with a sweet little girl?! probably just smile alot... i cannot wait!!! 

    It's an exciting time, Im in a happy place. so thankful for the presence of God in my life! Anyways, Ill keep ya posted... I've got a soundcheck to get to!

So glad you have been a strong speaker of Christ's love for everyone of us. Of course, I'm glad that you and your wife will have a little girl soon. That is such a blessing from God. :)

Jason, congratulations so exited for you and the next chapter in your life. Your song "You Are" always reminds me of my first love "Jesus" and whether I may find my self in a valley, a desert, or a mountain top in life I'm always reminded that He is the one. Wow!! So glad to see you are still playing your music. Wonderful to hear you are married and having your first child. That little girl will make you feel proud to be Daddy. Keep up the good work and I will look forward to more of your music. Hope you make it to Minneapolis,MN again soon. Thouroughly enjoyed you debut on AL, hasn't been the same without you. Jason, this is such wonderful news...a new baby girl....there is no love in the world like that of your love for your child...it is God's richest blessing . I am so happy for you and Mandy. You are two of the sweetest, kindest people I know and I have been blessed getting to know you both. We know how busy you have been but we are always so happy to hear from you. You will smile at your baby girl....a lot...you will hold her and sing to her...a lot....and when she and you are ready, you will teach her, guide her and she will have you wrapped around her little finger. One day, she will astound you with her gifts. I was a sweet little girl once, who went around the world, then became a pilot, a flight instructor and had five children. Who would have thought.
