Oh I never posted and it's way after the fact, but just to say I thought the Grove was wonderful Difficult to see for someone short like me as everyone was over my head, but Jason sounded wonderful.
I'm so glad he was there.
I am SO loving the vids from this show! Jason, I wish i could have had a chance to see you live with the Steadies. AWESOME SHOW!

Hi, all. I had such a great time at the show. It was fun hanging out with LGMama, Jeanene, Rosequeen, Donna, and many fans, and I think I saw Karlasu, but in all the excitement, forgot to introduce myself. The crowd reaction to Jason was great, and I got the feeling he won over new fans Wednesday. A lot of Grove shoppers and Michelle Branch fans seemed pleasantly surprised by Jason.
I'm so happy I got to witness this show. The mood of the crowd was so upbeat, and Jason was so joyful. A great night overall.

I love the Grove tubies. Jason sounded amazing. He looked so happy as well. Just wish he would come EAST so we New England fans could hear him live.

I posted a BLOG and lots of pictures on my myspace, too many to keep posting.
I got cut off LOl, I've never been this wordy before.... Hummm what inspiration will do to you. I don't know if the Ops are reading this but, when Karlasu emailed me and attached fliers and I was able to print them up and email them out it gave me an idea. Can that flier be poste here on this site to where people can print them up and get them out there to the public. Just a thought. Okay just wante dto say that I think the people here are fantastic, loving wonderful people and I am so glad to be part of your family. Love meeting the girls and guys at the grove and look forward to meeting more and more at each event.
Share my story about The GROVE. There are no words to express this feeling, BUT I will try. Jason was awesome I've never heard him do a live show before (I did hear him sing in SB one song) but this was a real live show with 5 songs. I was in AWE. I got there around 2pm to meet up with our Street Team Leader, ready to pass out fliers and spread the word. At first people would look at you funny when you tried to hand them a flier. Wave their hand at you as if you were trying to sell them something LOL....Then I wised up and would say "You Know JASON CASTRO from American Idol" well that got there attention. And people would take the flier and say "oh I love that guy" "Oh I'm obsessessed (sorry about the spelling) with that guy, he's here tonight" There were quite a lot of people that did not even know he was playing. So I think the fliers really helped and we all need to street team it for Jason. After the show the line of people that left Michelle's section of the show did show how many people were there for Jason and Jason only. They left the show just to line up and get a picture and signing from Jason. That line was forever long. So yes I believe many many many people were there for OUR GUY LOL.... I was so happy and proud to be a part of it and to be able to be blessed with fantastic journey we are all on and in together. I can not wait to get out there again and again. At work today I emailed out the fliers, I posted it right be the time clock. And everyone at work will know it's me LOL they know how crazy I am about Jason and getting the word out. So lets do it people lets spread the word..... Okay I need to calm down now, yah the show was great. Cant wait to be able to go again and again and again..... Closer, Closer Closer right Rosequeen. And by the way everyone that I met there, Rosequeen, Karlasu2, sherry, heather, crush, violet, lgmamma, sorry if I can't remember everyone, but GOSH you girls are fantasic and worked so hard for Jason.
The Grove. What a marvelous experience. I was there leading the Southern California area of Jason's street team. There was a crew of about 10 of us there. Without going in to all the STing details, I'll just say Jason was wonderful. He played five songs, rather than the expected four. I think most of the audience was there for Michelle Branch and I was anxious to see how they reacted. I watched as his momentum built with each song. There was a little dip in attention on the love song but I think it was because of the shortness of the set.
I watched as he played his single. Oh geez. The audience LOVED it. And I liked it live even better than recorded. It really got the audience going. He finished with closer and again, the audience loved it and sang along with him on the chorus. I even heard people singing "closer, closer, closer" after the show. And they erupted into applause at the end of the last song.
The autograph line was maybe 30 feet long when I finally made it to the outskirts of the crowd. It stayed that long for about an hour and a half. Amazing. The girls loved him. LOTS of teenagers were there and they were giddy with excitement.
Jason is going to be one incredible live performer. I can see the future and it is shining.
Oh, and I just love him!
Jason was FANTASTIC at The Grove. He and the Heavy Steadies were right on the money and having fun. The crowd really enjoyied him too and after the show the line at the meet and greet was an hour and a half long! Then we (street teamers) had to cap it off. It was great hearing comments like, "I liked a couple of his songs during AI but WOW WOW WOW, I never knew!"

Jason was fantastic tonight! His new single sounds even better live. After the show he signed autographs & took pictures with fans for an hour and a half. The line was enormous to start, but when Michelle Branch finished her set, it got even bigger. But, our darling Jason never stopped smiling. He's such a sweetie.
Since he mentioned in his webcast that he's needing some new bracelets, I made him one. I got to put it on him, too. : )
If any of my pictures or videos are decent, I'll post them. However, due to the completely full parking garage, I only got to record his last two songs (from a distance).
Can't wait to start hearing the reports from The Grove. Saw some twitpics and it looks like there was a great crowd there for Jason!!
Oh, I wish I could get there earlier & meet up with you guys. But, I have to wait for someone and probably won't get there until showtime. Hope I make it on time...please no LA traffic issues.
I'm driving down in the morning. I know of at least a dozen of us meeting. It's gonna be soooooooooo FUN FUN FUN!
I'll be there! I'm finally semi-close to a show. Last time I saw him, I had to drive to Tulsa from Chicago. Now, I just have to drive up from San Diego...yippee!!
Oh, will he be meeting with his fans before/after his set/show?
