    well friends,

    today marks the beginning of a new era! im laying in bed thinking of what is coming and i can't believe it. a year ago today i was finishing up the idol tour and thinking "what next?" and since then i negotiated a record deal with the best label in the business, signed a publishing deal with the largest publisher on the planet, wrote over 50 songs and finally recorded my own album!!! well... ok im still doing a little recording but were on the home stretch! its so exctiting!!! today was a blast. i absolutely love live web chats.. as awkward as they make me feel :) haha you guys try talking into a camera not seeing who our talking to! haha its so strange, yet exhilirating! its the closest i get to interact with you al until i get on the road! until then... i need to rest up. ive been working like a mad man and the voice is feeling it! gotta get it ready for tomorrow. the Grove in Los Angeles, 8pm. i cant believe i am in bed at 8 oclock.. not to mention ive been laying here for over an hour... ha

Good to see you're getting some early nights Jason! :-D I didn't get to the webchat live, I used to but I was losing too much sleep keeping such wacky hours too haha, I caught up online though and I love it when we're treated to those wonderful live acoustic peformances ~ thank you so much. I'm enjoying your new single & I fell in love with It Matters to me ~ got me very much looking forward to your album now and seeing footage of you out there playing live again ~ bring it on Jason! Jason, I've got a new addiction...your single! Your voice sounds GREAT, both in the live version done during the webcast and the recorded one. I love them both! It must be really awkward talking into the camera, but you always come accross so relaxed and real. My internet is slow, so I couldn't see the chat, only bits of it, so dissapointed...but the excitment was still there. Will we be able to see it again anywhere, like last time? Jason, you should be so proud of what you've accomplished in such a short time, add to the list making alot of people very happy for sharing you and your voice and wonderful spirit with us all. Good luck with the concert tonight, Jason. I've actually been to The Grove, so I know it's a really cool venue. Unfortunately, I live in upstate NY, so won't be able to be there live...but I'm counting on some great videos being posted so that all of us who are far away can check it out. ...Loved your webcast last night....adored both songs....but mostly just enjoyed watching you be you. We are sooo lucky to know you, Jason... You really are the best!
