This song literally saved my life when I was at my lowest point. I was a cutter, and at the time I had just decided to slit my wrist and just end the pain I was in. When I reached for my blade I knocked over my radio. It turned on and "You Are" was just begining to play. It was definently a God thing. Thank You.

I am not usually one to be at a loss for words... I have enjoyed "you are" so many times on my XM-radio Christian Station- When I found out it was you singing... well... I just felt blessed. This song speaks directly to the core desires of my heart; it brings tears to my eyes every time I hear the song. It is clearly about God but it also speaks to my desire of having a soul mate: that yearning to have someone to hold and to love no matter what life brings, which (I realize as I am writing this) is the same yearning God wants us to have for Him. God is awesome!

I heard this song on KLTY (Fort Worth, TX) for the first time this week. As the song played my three year old daughter said, "Mommy, this song is about Jesus." Wow...Jesus' name is nowhere in this song, yet she could clearly see that Christ is the One...Life more beautiful, Love more powerful, the Light that always shines.
