Posted by McLovin
October 2, 2009

In their October 10, 2009, print edition, Billboard hails Jason's single as a "sprightly folk-pop number" and goes on to say:

"...Castro has stepped up his vocal game considerably on his solo material, without losing the carefree spirit that made him such a fan favorite."

That is so cool for Jason. Billboard!!! Can't wait to see it rise up in the charts. I love the song and his cd is going to be just what all of us Jason fans have been waiting for. But now he is getting the praise he deserves and his fan count is only going to rise up, up, up. He has been working so hard and I know it is going to pay off big time. Love you Jason

Aaaawww Thanks Mr. Billboard. I am happy to read such comments as "sprightly folk-pop number" and "stepped up his vocal game considerably" and "without losing the carefree spirit". You speak the truth Mr. Billboard and I hope you will continue to be nice when the album comes out. The single is just a preview. :)

This is no surprise to those of us who happened to catch this goofy guy singing "Daydream" on American Idol, sat straight up on the couch, shushed the family and thought, "Wow, there's something special here."

I loved LJFILA since hearing the snippets of it in one of Jason's webisodes - caught me right away. It's one of those songs you can hear over and over and not get tired of it. Watching Jason sing it is a joy - love to see his smiling face when he performs it.
It's such a happy song - can't wait to hear it on my local radio station.

..and now that we've heard the songs on the album, via Texas State Fair show - wow, there are going to be many hits on that cd. Look out, world!

Not that we needed Billboard to tell us this--we know!--but it is awfully nice to have them say it anyway. Woo hoo, Jason!! That totally rocks!

Jason's new song is so cheerful and he sings with such joy. Cannot wait for that album to come.
