Jason Castro Updates

Jason will be performing at Universal Studio's Rock The Universe in the brand new Fan Zone! You can catch Jason playing Friday, September 9th at 8:05 PM.

The Fan Zone will be open during Rock The Universe from 4 PM - 1 AM both Friday and Saturday night. Jason will be playing alongside For King & Country and Dara Maclean in the Fan Zone where you'll be able to meet artists, hear live music, and browse merch tables. Join in Florida’s biggest Christian music festival, Rock the Universe, September 9th and 10th, where the biggest names in Christian rock take the stage at Universal Studios®.

Hi all.

On May 24th, after a great contest being run by AT&T whereby the winner could potentially win $10 Million in cash, there will be a free concert in the Nokia Courtyard with performances by Jason, along with Former Idol Finalists Kimberly Caldwell (Season 2), Diana DeGarmo (Season 3), Bo Bice (Season 4), Ace Young (Season 5) and Blake Lewis (Season 6).

I feel like I have some explaining to do.. i haven't been too active online and i want to apologize! I feel so disconnected from you guys so let me catch you up on what's been happening.

First, I just got off of the biggest tour of the year so far according to poll star and It was such an amazing time! This was my first "christian" tour and i really didn't know what to expect but it turned out to be such and amazing time!! Im so thankful for all the wonderful people we got to meet. all the bands were so great, made us feel so loved. it was awesome! It was such a privilege to be a part of what God is doing through winter jam.

While we are on the topic of Concerts I know that there have been some of you wondering if i was going to start just playing at churches or if i will still be doing club shows and the answer is YES! Since I started playing music I always was of the mindset that i would play wherever they would have me! haha and im so thankful that churches have been opening their doors to me and i am so excited to be a part of their ministries but I am also looking forward to playing at some of your favorite concert venues! keep checking back here for tour dates. im currently in the process of acquiring a new booking agency and we are gonna get some shows rockin! ill keep ya posted.

Now, I am excited to announce that there will be a new addition to the Castro family! My wife and I are expecting our first child this August. We just found out yesterday that it is going to be a girl! haha that makes me laugh... what am i going to do with a sweet little girl?! probably just smile alot... i cannot wait!!! 

It's an exciting time, Im in a happy place. so thankful for the presence of God in my life! Anyways, Ill keep ya posted... I've got a soundcheck to get to!
